Random lag??

So yesterday my technic pack was playing a very good fps limit for all mod packs then when i went on today everything lags and does not work?

if anyone has had this problem and knows how to solve it can you please help

2008 iMac 27 inch

8gb ram

10.9 OSX mavericks
