Technic pack ssp error report

So I have been trying to get advanced machines and solar arrays to load with technic ssp and I realized I was playing on dev build. I switched to rec build and loaded my world. Ic2 adv machines and solar arrays were now in Nei but I could not use Nei and the buttons for changing time, healing player etc were missing(The buttons to the top left of the screen). I turned easy cheat on but that didn't fix the problem. I reverted my build to dev build to try and see if that fixed the problem but now when I load the Technic ssp mod pack I get this error report:

Can somebody help me fix this? I don't know if I broke something or need to change a setting.

I changed back to rec build and I can now play using the technic ssp pack. However I cannot use Nei and the buttons to the top left are missing. Do I need to enable easy cheat outside of the launcher for it to work?

:| You have yo go to %appdata%/techniclauncher/technicssp/configs and open the one named NEI switch the "for people who can't help themselves to false and you can use the cheat feature of NEI.

I fixed the problem and got ic2advmachines working! For some reason no results showed up when I searched for %appdata%/techniclauncher/technicssp/configs on my computer. I had to manually find the config folder. Macs are very frustrating!!!! But now buildcraft pipes crash my ssp worlds:( Time to fix that problem too!

I am a bit confused at what you mean by changing the thing the rec build?? my game just shows this screen I really need help :/
