Gem Armor Abilities Dont Work

They dont work well. Offensive abilities are fine, but the movement abilities don't work. I can ascend, but i cant use the gravity greaves or whatever makes you run automatically. It says they are disabled when i first try and use them, but i dont know where to enable them Where would i find that file that lets me enable the abilities?

i understand how to enable the abilities, but they dont work. auto run doesnt work, and holding shift to drop to the ground doesnt work either
