Hello everyone, I hope you all can help me!!

I have been playing on this launcher with no problems until today.  I have the Enchanted Oasis modpack installed, on Windows 8 64 bit.  Today after updating java, when I hit play in the launcher, it straight up wont launch.  Its like, I click play, everything gets loaded, the launcher goes away like it normally would, and then nothing.  Then, the launcher shows up again as if I had never even hit play.  I am so afraid of losing my world on this because my fiance and I have been playing this for a while now.  The weird thing is, when I load another modpack, it loads fine.  Does anyone know why this would happen and what I can do to fix it?? I really enjoy playing on this world!!!  Ive read stuff about resetting the pack, but will that erase my world??  Also, I tried the whole %appdata% thing, and I cannot find the jar file....maybe Im just having a dumb moment I have no idea.  I also made sure there were no old versions of java...I read that was recommended as well.  I will provide the log below.....ooooorrrrr I wont.  Just tried to open it for that particular launch and it takes forever and wont open.  Please, if anyone has any ideas or can help me, Im all ears! Er, eyes.

I am havning the exact same problem with b-team pack, though I reverted my java back to what I had before, and it still wont work? Have you had any success on fixing the problem, and if so can you share what you did. Thanks.

EDIT: I figured out with my problem was I needed to revert back to java 8u11 instead of 8u20, maybe that is what you need to do. go here and check section "Java SE Runtime Environment 8u11" section and download windows x86 offline -jre-8u11-windows-i586.exe and windows x64 (if you have 64bit) - jre-8u11-windows-x64.exe

This fixed my problem, might fix yours.

Uninstall java 1.8 and install java 1.7 (take notice these are actually two different steps).

If you have problems with installing/uninstalling java there's a simple jarfix made by one of the Forge devs for 1.6.4 based modpacks.

Drop it to the mods directory. Download link.
