None of the stickies mention nether ores.

Try downloading the server zip file again and replacing your nether ores jar with the one in the zip. It is found in the mod folder and is named mod_NetherOres

Unsupported major minor version means you're still using java 6, when the mods require java 7. It's in the sticky with the same title. As time goes on, more and more mods will begin to kick this error back as they move up to using java 7 functionality.
