Could any harm come from replacing command book with essentials?

Don't care much for command book so I usually replace it with essentials. Any reason this could have a detrimental effect on the other mods?

I did the same and didn't have any ill effects. I would suggest getting PermissionsBukkit along with it.

I consider permissions a bloated piece of garbage and I avoid its use at all costs. My server has 2 user groups. Admins with all the power and regular users with regular power.

Replacing command book with essentials caused no problems on my server so far. Worked for about 2 weeks until buildcraft collapsed the entire server but that was hardly essentials fault.
