Turtle Disappearing

I am having problem when going far from my turtles (or going in the Nether); they simply disappear. One time it also stopped working. I tried to place some teleport tether to keep the chunk loaded, but it happened again.

(using Tekkit 3.0.3)

Anyone know some kind of setup that will prevent that?

I lost one too. Dont know what excatly i did when it happened. But its definetely gone. I´m playing on a converted tekkit world on 3.0.4
