Can't craft any Tekkit items

I've set up a server, and all my friends can connect to it.

All the new ores and rubber trees etc. have loaded properly, however whenever we go to craft a tekkit item (e.g. treetap) when we put the correct recipe in, the item appears for a second, then disappears and we cannot craft it.

How do I stop this?

I had a similar issue.

Problem was solved by disabling Permissionsbukkit (Via remove from plugins folder)

For some reason the version I got was completely broken. It wasn't doing anything. I would suggest trying out each plugin to see what the problem is. Most likely permissions for you too.

Remove recipe manager and restart the server then DO NOT use the /reload command, this has been posted about a number of times

true... /reload messes up everything only, not even all plugins support it...

I've just gone to edit the plugins in the plugin folder ... and there aren't any files in there?!

Ive looked through all possible tekkit and server files and no recipe managerr what-so ever, there are also no files in the "config" folder. Any other way to fix this?

it works fine till you /reload it must be some clashing code in the bukkit side of the server
