Every time I try to run it goes to the Checking Launching thing and just disappears. Please look around and use search to see if other people are having a similar issue instead of making a new thread without much information. It sounds like a java issue. Make sure Java is up to date and the correct version for your OS. If you have a 64 bit OS, you need 64 bit java. If you have a 32 bit OS you need 32 bit java. If you still have a java issue after this and you're using the .exe, switch to using the .jar. Even if you read this, go look around for more information on these forums.
