I've been trying to completely avoid using Buildcraft to prevent lag on a server. So I've been experimenting with Redpower, and have a good grasp on how sorting machines work and limited experiance with the other machines. However, I want to know if anyone knows of a way to split the output of an item 50/50? For example, have half of the iron ingots from a furnace go to storage and half return to the furnace to become refined iron. Sorting machines only send the iron bars to one output and ignore the other. I've tried filters, but they seem extremely finicky about when they will split items 50/50 and when they will send items to one filter. Does anyone have a solution?
