I really hope a way of generating power underground/nether is added, Thermopiles are no good for running pumps...

Try hitting F11 to go full screen, I have no idea why but on my PC if I go maximise instead of hitting F11 I get god awful FPS, but if I use F11 it's all smooth!

^^ The problem is the thick HV cables, that image shows how long you can have a cable before it loses EU. Swap the thick HV cable out for glass fibre and you should see an improvement straight away.

What's the energy loss on glass fibre? I always thought there was very little but 300 blocks may be pushing it...

Nothing in the rules about swearing old bean! If it is smp with no mystcraft then yeah thats not gonna work. It is a rare symbol but all it costs really is a couple of stacks of books, a stack of feathers and a shit ton of patience really

You could also fuck around with Mystcraft worlds until you get the glowstone symbol...
