I resolved it. I was running a 32bit version of java. so i just uninstalled that version and got the 64bit one. thank you for the help. -

I've just atempted to run the tekkit server for the first time and it brings up the errors as follows: I'm not entirely sure how to go about fixing it. any help would be great. notes: I have the most recent java update I'm running on 8gb of RAM
