It only allows me to allot 1 gig max how do you set it to do 2 gig's?

I recently upgraded to the newest tekkit launcher. I deleted all previous tekkit files and installed the new launcher. I went to download the new tekkit modpack and when it reached Greg's Lighting mod it stopped downloading and would not finish. It does similar things for every other pack only stopping at a different point. How do i fix this problem.
