Is Optifine no longer part of the mod pack and if so is there a reason why it was excluded? I have always found it quite handy and was big part of why I played Technic over Vanilla. I did a quick search and didn't find any answers, so any help would be appreciated!

Hey I actually have an account and can still log in to Minecraft.net and play vanilla, but get "Unable to Authenticate account" message is there something I can do because I find my sudden lack of lazers disturbing.
