Use Filezilla and download the .jar, edit it and upload it

Hi, I'm currently running a tekkit server. I am wanting to make a farm using block breaker, i active the block breakers and the animation happens but the block does not break. I don't know if i need to enable the Block breakers in some type of config file. Any help would be great. Kind Regards,
