Description of Problem:
Donwloaded & am running my own Tekkit server 3.1.3 on OSX for 9yo son & friend (i dont play & am no Minecraft expert!), latest Tekkit launcher connects ok but when they try to add a 'Tekkit' item i.e. computer to player inventory the game closes with 'Connection Lost end of stream' error & the terminal window says [iNFO] <user> lost connection: disconnect.genericReason, yet selecting a normal minecraft item like cobblestone works.
Also when selecting a Tekkit item from what I am told is the Too Many Items v1,2,2,4 selection box on right it says no item called <number>.
I have tried running the Tekkit Launcher in recommended & dev builds after clearing cache with same issues. Any help would be appreciated to keep my son happy over the holidays!!
Also I just noticed the terminal/server log says it loaded one mod from /users/user1/mods yet all the mods appear to be in the tekkit server 3.1.3 directory structure by default so i tried copying the mods to the /users/user1/mods dir & got many server errors a& the server didnt start..
