The problem is obvious, Tekkit is using up minecraft's allocated RAM. You can't do crap about this unless you're willing to get pricey and have a computer shop/repair clinic put more RAM in Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Also, your operating system is easy to discover. are you on a Mac, or Windows PC? that narrows it down intensely.
