well that might be it. I found out the redstone engines can power miningwells. But is this a change in Buildcraft? Couldn't they could power the quarry before?

right, but i dont know how to upload a screenshot. The thing is, when i plonk a redstone torch or a lever and such, the redstone engines doesn't animate or power the quarry. Appearanly they do heat up, i found out by leaving my server on for the night, but the quarry remained untouched.

Please help! The redstone engines won't power at all by any redstone powersource. The rest of the engines work fine, but the redstone just won't start pumping.

Yeah Forge essentials is a fantastic mod that surely would prove useful on servers, but why add it just yet? The mod is not ready yet, even the developer said that it shouldn't have been added, due to it's instability. I, myself, have a disturbing problem with this mod at the moment which is that it doesn't allow me to place or interact with block unless I'm an OP. And running a server with FE running on it, my friends cannot either place or interact with any blocks. Can't FE be taken out from tekkit LITE untill it is done?
