I'm well aware that it's not hard to do and that it doesn't require a custom modpack. However, my computer has had constant difficulty with compiling the modpack.jar and minecraft.jar in Technic Vanilla. So I'm asking for someone else to do it, since someone more experienced in creating modpacks should have no difficulty with this. If it's not hard to do, then maybe you could be of service and produce one.

Hey, guys. I'm just wondering if I could request that a modpack be created and a link be given so that I can use it. I hope it's not too much of your time taken, but I'm not nearly as experienced with modpacks, so I need help. I need a modpack to be posted somewhere that's almost Vanilla, but with Minecraft Forge, Optifine, Computercraft, and Rei's Minimap. All for 1.4.7. Thanks to anyone that helps!

I was told to put Optifine and Minecraft Forge into the modpack.jar. They are installed. However, the Technic Launcher froze while saying "Checking for Vanilla Update..." and the Vanilla window that popped up is white and frozen. A Forge Modloader window popped up that said "Hello" in the title bar, but was white and frozen. It disappeared soon after. What is wrong!?

Hey, guys. I have just one simple question and a few sub-questions: If I were to add Minecraft Forge, Optifine, and Rei's Minimap to Vanilla Minecraft 1.4.7 in the Technic Pack, how would I do that? Sub-questions: Which ones do I need to put in the modpack.jar/minecraft.jar/mods folder? What Minecraft Forge do I need? (I currently have 6.6.0.497; is that the one I need?) What Optifine do I need? (I currently have 1.4.6 HD_U_D5.) I have Rei's Minimap v3.2_06; is that the one I need? Please answer soon! Thanks!

This is the thread for Technic Launcher issues. Take my advice, man, and repost this in the help section for whatever modpack you're using. Don't get into trouble.

And for extra elaboration, the "Hello!" dialogue box only pops up for a moment and says nothing, it also has a white screen, and then it closes and I am left with a white-screened Vanilla window, and the Technic Launcher window, which continues to say, "Checking for Vanilla Update...".
