Yeah you type this in your search bar (if windows) %appdata%/.techniclauncher then go to bin, right click on modpack.jar and open with either 7zip or winrar. then just click and drag the contents of the optifine folder into it, delete the meta inf folder and your done. Im not sure how its done for mac but im sure is a similar process.

well lately his Optifine has been built so you could use the most powerful version and just turn on or off the features you need. But I still don't see why its not added in. Granted its fairly simple to install yourself. But i wish you could just click and drag the zip into the mods folder instead of patching it in to the mods.jar folder.

Then why is it in Tekkit classic?

Anyone know why Tekkit lite does not include Optifine in the mod pack? Its kind of weird since its always updated to the most recent version of Minecraft all the time and it doesn't clash with any of the mods currently in Tekkit lite. Any thoughts?
