Sorry to bump this post in 2020 but I'm having the same issue. Double checked with the template and all. Edit: Despite the skin updating almost instantly on Minotar it takes at least several hours before it updates on both the Technic Launcher and Tekkit Classic.

I just downloaded tekkit classic and I try to use a command but the "/" key doesn't do anything, so I try to chat and the "t" key does nothing as well. I just can't work it out I looked in the options and tried the config files but I can't find anything. Finally I searched the internet about this problem and I found nothing. Can anyone help me with issue or can you just not talk or use commands in single-player tekkit?

Hmm I don't have that problem, but my brother does. Funny since we both have the same model of laptop. It seems that this occurs for some people but not others. I don't know why it does this so I'm not much of a help but I need to know how to fix this too because the world me and my brother play on is on his tekkit lite.

I feel that it would really improve the game if you added Gregtech. Please consider adding it. You don't have to coz it's your modpack after all, I just think it'll be a great addition to the other mods in the pack.

I did read the previous posts, I took their advice and waited. I checked back today and there was still no sound. By the way I'm not a troll I'm simply asking for help.

I just installed the BusinessElite pack I started playing and there was no sounds. Why?
