  1. I guess the 1.0.12 file was broken/corrupt as the 1.0.13 works fine.
  2. Yes the .jar file has exactly the same name as the previous one. I copied/renamed the .jar file and copied over the other folders in the zip, first I merged the folders but when that didn't work I completely removed the original folders and then copied the new ones. When that didn't work, I completely deleted the entire server folder and re-created it to copy the contents of the zip into it. I changed the launch.bat file to Xmx5G/Xms3G, that didn't work so i repeated the process keeping the original launch.bat file intact and still the same result. If I repeat this process with the 1.0.11 server zip it works perfectly, just can't get it to work with the 1.0.12 zip. EDIT: I haven't tried with the 1.0.13 zip yet, I'll give that a go when i get back from work.
  3. Without having the issue myself I cannot diagnose the problem directly, but my advice would be: open windows explorer in the address bar type %appdata% and press enter you should now see a folder called .techniclauncher delete that then run the launcher again. NOTE: This will delete any saves you have on any of the packs on technic launcher but should fix the problem.
  4. Instead of trying to find someone to host the server on their PC for you, you should take a look at Peak Hosting http://www.peak-hosting.com/minecraftservers.html , they're really cheap and my Voltz server runs fine and so far has 100% 24/7 uptime (apart from when I manually take it down). Then when you have the server up and running you could ask people to donate to keep the server running using a paypal donation link, then offer extras to donors to make it worth while donating. Just a tip though, build the server world in single player then pay for the server and upload the world when it's ready instead of wasting money on the server while building it. EDIT: with such a large scale build it might be worth hosting a private whitelisted server from home just for builders and using creative mode to build.
  5. 6. I posted this on another thread and so far have no response. I am having major FPS issues, whether it be single player, home server, or on my hosted server. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it. If it helps my specs and settings are: AMD Bulldozer FX6100 3.3GHz Black Edition 8GB DDR3 RAM Onboard GFX - AMD 760 MC Settings: Graphics - Fast Smooth Lighting - Off Particles - Decreased Render Distance - Normal Performance - Max FPS View Bobbing - Off Advanced OpenGL - Off Clouds - Off Also if it helps I have 4GB RAM allocated. EDIT: OK, the frame rate seems to be getting worse, nothing has changed, I've built nothing and done nothing, just stood in a room while i was setting up to record. the FPS has now dropped from ~15FPS to maxing out at 10, and while recording this drops to 5FPS. I know recording lowers the rate but 5FPS is not possible to play and record with. Please help.
  7. I am also having FPS problems in Voltz, if anyone knows of a fix please share Specs: AMD Bulldozer FX6100 3.3GHz Black Edition 8GB DDR3 RAM Onboard GFX - AMD 760 MC Settings: Graphics - Fast Particles - Reduced Render Distance - Normal View Bobbing - Off Advanced OpenGL - Off Also if it helps I have 4GB RAM allocated.
