So I modified the start.command : #!/bin/bash cd "$(dirname "$0")" while true do java -Xmx4G -Xms4G -jar BTeam.jar nogui echo "If you want to completely stop the server process now, press Ctrl+C before the time is up!" echo "Rebooting in:" for i in 5 4 3 2 1 do echo "$i..." sleep 1 done echo "Rebooting now!" done This will allow the server to automatically restart if shutdown from a crash occurs. I also have a simple plugin that will restart th server every 24 hours. I'll mark this as resolved. -

My cpu is an intel i5 3570k OC'd to 4.4 GHz (stable, I have tested). No overheating or whatnot (I built this computer so I always monitor hardware). When I ran it with the GUI, the memory usage was NEVER above 20%. I also DON'T get "Can't keep up!" messages, so the server isn't stressed. What I know is that Mavericks will consume your free RAM for the system to speed things up, but if something needs memory, it will give it some to avoid crashes. So I -
