okay, thanks, JohnnyB, i figured it out thanks to you. it uses cells like you said, except tin is used instead of glass. placing cells first then uranium ores changed the centrifuge's status to ready and then processing

i noticed that the centrifuge has an extra slot in this version (different from the wiki) and will not refine using uranium ores alone. what is the secret?
