Title: Tekkit server - error

OS: Windows 8 64 bit

Description of Problem:
I have a tekkit server (3,1,2) what i have used for a while with no error, till yesterday when i tried to log in i was getting this error failed to verify username! {Internal error: Java.net.connectException: Connection: Address is invalid on local machine, or port is not valid on remote machine.
I use hamachi
I am on windows 8 64 bit system.
I have tried deleting and re-installing tekkit, java, hamachi and minecraft.
I have checked my firewall on windows and bullguard.
I can run the server if i changed the option in the server property file "online-mode=false" but this causes the server to run very slow
