just delete the technic folder and try again

in your start menu type %appdata% delete you technic folder then download the java version of the launcher. i did that then every thing ran smoothly

Launcher/pack Version: Latest launcher Operating System:Windows 7 (64bit) Version of Java: Java 7 (64bit) Description of Problem: Under the options menu where you can allocate more ram to the game the little drop down menu is locked and will not let me change it. this is leaving me unable to play technic pack because it just runs with 256mb of ram
