A lot of people are getting this since the last launcher update, usually restarting the client or your computer fixes it but in extreme cases you might have to reset your .technic directory, hopefully they'll fix it soon!

It was some sort of automatic update, the launcher downloads a small file and your stuffed, the players on my server have dropped like flies and it's affecting every OS.

Same here too, and getting e-mails from from others experiencing the same on Windows, Mac & Linux.

Our server has been relocated to a data centre in London, we are now hooked up to a 10 GBps internet connection and running on brand new top of the line server hardware!

It's only April so that's a long way off but we had the Easter hunt so yeah we'll come up with something, I know DigginChickin has already had some ideas about Halloween

Interesting turn of events, I hosted the server at home for a few days using a backup copy and the errors & disconnects didn't occur. So I took a free trial with another hosting company... the errors & disconnects didn't occur then either. So I don't know if this is the case for you as well but it doesn't seem to be a configuration, plugin or world problem in my case, it's something to do with the hosting company. I did suspect this earlier as it only started happening when they did some network upgrades but now I know for sure. Maybe you should take a free trial elsewhere and see what happens?

That was for the scheduled maintenance, details were posted on the website and warnings were broadcast hourly on the server all day yesterday

As it happens yes I am, what features did you disable? I've also been looking at this plugin as a possible culprit and so far set the following to false: ThrottleInventoryThread UseChunkUnloader Which like you I THINK has helped but it's hard to tell for sure!

Did you get to the bottom of this? My hosting company was down for a couple of days for upgrades (which went badly wrong) and I've been getting similar behaviour ever since, at first I thought it was a hardware issue at their end but now I'm wondering if something has gone wrong at a software level because of all the unexpected restarts etc.

I like that mod but not sure it's appropriate for our server, maybe we could add it temporarily just for fun sometime Btw, sorry it took so long to reply, it's been a manic week!
