I finished up my fission reactor setup recently and of course i used a gigantic amount of steel into making a Hazmat suit so i can actually handle the refined uranium Well, here's the actual question. I still have the old version of this particular mod (i have no idea how to update manually) where the Uranium rod is made in a workbench with 3 uranium. I was horrified to see how quickly even keeping the stuff in my inventory ate through the suit, i barely was able to take the rod to the reactor floor below. Is it supposed to be so quick to decay under radiation? or am i doing something wrong here, i don't wanna end up using all of my resources into Hazmats

So i was doing my normal Voltz stuff, trying to build my first nuclear power stuff, when i needed help, i went to a wiki page to read about making uranium rods. I noticed that there has been an update to Voltz, where centrifuge's interface and Uranium Rod's creating method changed. The problem is, my client didn't download or install this update. I tried to do it manually by starting Vanilla through the launcher and then Voltz, it did download the files for Voltz, but the Atomic science part of the modpack is still unpatched. Any help please?
