The META-INF from the modpack jar is Forges META-INF, it's not supposed to be deleted.

This should probably be under servers, not modpacks. They are probably using a hacked client.

So what you're saying is the the modpack.jar fails to do anything? I have this problem also. I tried to use Volts' modpack.jar, which made it almost work, but the version of Forge was different than what I needed for some of my mods to work.

If you are using Dropbox as your hoster, hit the share button for the modpack, then right-click the download button on the page it brings you to, and copy the link, use that as the link for the Modpack Location in the editor.

Also, luke, thanks for indirectly calling me an idiot. I love it when people do that, just because one does not know how to do one thing does not mean they are an idiot, I've been fixing small things around my modpack for several days now, not doing the same thing and expecting different results. I'm not a genius, but I'm not an idiot either, I'm just new at this, that's all. Didn't work. It uses the wrong FML version. *sigh*

Please sir, lay off the caps. I used dropbox as my host. And I know not to put the minecraft jar in.

I followed a guide on Youtube on how to make a modpack with the launcher, the modpack downloads everything correctly, however the modpack.jar does not work. I get no errors. I used WinRAR, I've tried 3 times now with the same results, the modpack.jar is named "modpack.jar" and it is infact a jar file.

I have it all set up and it will download correctly, however, on startup, the modpack.jar does nothing, making the game completely vanilla, anyone know how to fix this? I've made sure the modpack jar has forge and is compiled correctly. It is, but it still doesn't work. Help!

Are you serious? If you can't even remember then I don't know why I asked to help you on the server... Also, learn to read previous posts. I'm outta here.
