Tekkit Lite 6.5 is out and it is the new recommended version. Is the server going to update to the new version or is it going to stay 6.1?

A earlier posts say the server ip was 192.95.41.245:25565. Two numbers swapped places. I had to compare them side by side to find that.

Did the port on the server change because it is saying the connection was refused.

What you can offer: Knowledge of IC2, BC, MFR, vending machines, cookie factories, auto-crafting machine, three architectural styles(rustic, industrial and futuristic), the inability to think small, the ability to cram stuff in small places, my own modpack(somthing small I made because I found some cool mods that are not in Tekkit), good at explaining stuff, and I think I'll just stop there.

Nevermind I worked it all out.

I made a custom pack on the old launcher I have all the files for it and all. I want to use it on the new launcher, but I'm not sure what kind of changes I'm going to have to make to the files.
The thought just occurred, does anyone know how to make java assign a block a unused id to a block if there is a conflict because it would make life easier.

Okay being stupid is the default for Java. Try installing a early version of Java if possible. Also are you using the new launcher or the old one?

Question by chance did you install optifine because it was source of my problem?

I'm getting the same thing, though it is on custom1 where I added and updated a few mods to tekkit lite. That and only one block of doors and beds break at a time and only one block of the bed is placed.

I'm trying to add some mods to tekkit lite, but I can't get anything to work all I get is a grey window after the FML has done its thing and it just sits there. I have just put the zip or jar in the mods folder and I have tried adding the files in the zip and jar files to modpack.jar which doesn't work and I have tried transplanting the mods from another modpack that didn't work. Yes I have looked at the sites to download these files. I'm clearly missing some piece of info or doing something wrong but I don't know what can somebody a little less clueless help me?
The mods I want to install are advancedsolarpanels, ExtrabiomesXL and DynamicElevators. I also want to update MineFactory Reloaded to the latest version.
Edit: Just dropping the stuff into the mods folder crashes minecraft.

I think that this is causing some problems for some people. Today I kept seeing people logging in to the server then logging out immediately.
