After a disastrous reinstall, i.e., deleted all my old technic files, redownloaded, and the launcher still isnt working, also, i tried installing a modpack, but it wont let me

well, I backdated, in other words, saved my old launcher, and reinstalled it so I could tell a few friends what was going on, but ill reinstall the new one as soon as I can

Launcher Version: 230 Operating System: Windows 8 Java Version: jre-7u10-windows-64 Antivirus Program: kaspersky internet defender 2013 Description of Problem: I decided to upgrade to the latest technic pack to play tekkit lite with a friend, and as i wait for it to load, nothing shows up, so i reinstalled it, and no modpacks have come up Error Messages: nothing that i couldve seen Error Log: nothing shown up Just for clarification, i typed nothing shown up, and i havent even got a signle modpack in my launcher
