  1. Hi! I'm running the latest tekkitlite with dynamic map. There is a huge load of maps generated by dynmap because some players use these dimensional doors occasionaly. I want to exclude every world to be renderd by dynmap, but the overworld (main world with buildings etc.). Does someone know how to set up dynmap this way? Thanks in advance
  2. Using Ubuntu 11.04 (at least I think so)
  3. Found the solution by accident... Dont know why anybody should do this, it doesnt make any sence and really fucks up my server-folder structure, but: it creates and saves all additional data (e.g. world.dir, sever.properties, etc.) in /home instead of the folder where the minecraft-server.jar is. So, when you want to create a tekkitlite-server, you now have to create it in /home or /home/documents, at least your running it an a linux-server
  4. Found out that it totally ignores the server.properties. Now I have the following files inside my tekkit-folder. banned-ips.txt LogisticsPipes-Request.log banned-players.txt minecraft_server.jar config mods coremods ops.txt ForgeModLoader-server-0.log server.log ForgeModLoader-server-0.log.lck server.properties launch.sh TekkitLite.jar lib white-list.txt Is there a different place to change server-settings? If not, the server-package is broken...
  5. Its a root Server. Dont really think i have to. But the server should start anyway, if it's reachable over the net or not, right?
  6. Hi There! I've set up a stock MC-Server with quite standart settings (besides of name and seed) and want to set up a tekkit lite server at the same time. so i downloaded the files, extractet, and changed the properties a bit. Only thing i have to do is, change the port to a differend number than it was. #Minecraft server properties #Fri Jan 04 02:40:04 EST 2013 generator-settings= allow-nether=true level-name=world enable-query=false allow-flight=false server-port=26555 level-type=DEFAULT enable-rcon=false level-seed=-568688860 server-ip= max-build-height=256 spawn-npcs=true white-list=false spawn-animals=true snooper-enabled=true hardcore=false texture-pack= online-mode=true pvp=true difficulty=1 gamemode=0 max-players=20 spawn-monsters=true generate-structures=true view-distance=10 spawn-protection=16 motd=Benes TekkiLite-Himmel What is it, that I did wrong? The server ignores the settings and tries to start with 25565 (stock-setting) and fails to bind the port, as there is still the vanilla-server running on it.
  7. Good Morning! You might be a bit confused why one could need help for this update, but first, let me tell you how it works (or had to work till last week) on my server: I've rented a server at nitrado.de (a german hoster). It's not that bad, but you always have to mess with the host itself. For instance: as i wanted to play tekkit lite with my friends (0.5.7), i found out, that i had to rename "tekkitlite.jar" into "minecraft_server.jar", or else the server wont get loaded by the shitty webinterface nitrado offers. This was no problem in 0.5.7, as there was only the "tekkitlite.jar" and no "minecraft_server.jar". But now, updating to 0.6.1, i have a problem which you may see already : I still need to rename the "tekkitlite.jar" to run the server (as far as i can see) which i just cannot do -> conflict with the existing "minecraft_server.jar" of tekkitlite 0.6.1 I hope someone has an idea for me to fix this. Thanks. PS: As i'm german, i want to say sorry, just in case that my english is hard to understand. In germany we favour sentences in legnth of 3+ lines Solution: With nitrado as host, u have to do the following steps. Maybe they will work with your host too, if your have the same issues as i had. 1. backup your server per ftp 2. set the server to tekkit installation (worked through the webinterface that i had) 3. delete the content of the new tekkitfolder 4. copy the old tekkitlite server files into that new and empty folder 5. update that tekkitlite server (exchange coremods, mods, minecraft_server,jar etc.) 6. rename tekkitlite.jar into tekkit.jar 7. have fun with it
