Well my friend has a mac and she can't play tekkit. I have tekkit, but she just plays on the old technic launcher and plays technic. It says that some modpacks arent installed. What do I do?

Whenever I go on youtube to look up tutorials on how to set up a server, their technic launcher looks like this: notthesamegame.files.wordpress.com/2012/07/technic-launcher.jpg But mine looks like this: i.imgur.com/1zaNIWF.png I can't access the options in the same way. How do I get the options that say the version and stuff?
