I have also just noticed I have none of the main packs is it possible that my laptop is not installing minecraft and technic properly and missing out key files ??? is anyone else having this problem??

The platform urls for me already have the www. in front now but seem to still not work for me I am running windows 8 and I don't know if this matters but I am currently having issues with my normal minecraft with cant receive news updates and stays on the starting menu with logging in and nothing happens???? if anyone can help or knows whats going on please help. thank you.
