When i tried to download it from the technicpack.net website, it wouldn't let me download the launcher cause every time i clicked the Linux button it would do nothing! Also, i don't know how to run the Minecraft.jar file or the TechnicPack.jar file!

Ok so what happens now.

Mine is Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin

I've recently joined the Technic Forums and so yes I may be a noob to all of you guys, but i need help! Here are my computer specs: My computer specs: -Ubuntu 12.04 (precise) -Intel® Pentium® D CPU 3.40GHz -Frequency:3389.176 MHz -L2 Cache:2048 KB -Memory Total:3000 MiB Now, onto the stuff i need help with... I just downloaded the TechnicLauncher (A huge pain in the a**) and when i select a modpack, then when I start to download the modpack, it starts off with the minecraft.jar file (As always...) but then, when the file finishes downloading, it restarts downloading itself over and over, totaling three times. Then on the end of the last redownload, it says: Update Failed WTF IS GOING ON???

Ok so now i've done everything that you've told to be done. EXCEPT for the tekkit shortcut. where can i find it?
