  1. Hi all, I just switched my server from Tekkit Lite to BigDig and like it a lot so far. However, since IC2 is not in there I have to re-learn some basic things now So maybe you guys can give me a hint or two on some alternatives for specific machines? Miner: I loved the possibility to mine an area (even when it's only 9x9) and just mine out the stuff I want (no cobblestone etc.). Not only have I less "scrap" but also the landscape doesn't look that devastated (only a small 1x1 hole instead of a whole crate with a quarry). Is there an alternative in BigDig for the miner? Geothermal Generator: Together with the EnderTanks this was a great way of producing cheap energy relatively quick. What would I use with Big Dig? Stirling Enginges? Solar Panels? Any help is appreciated ;)
  2. Ehm, nope... didn't even know about that untill now That explains it then, sorry. Thanks a lot for the heads up :)
  3. Title: SOLVED: Geothermal Generator turns into normal Generator when dismantling w/ electric wrench Version: 0.5.1 OS: Winows 7 64-Bit Java Version: 6.1.7601 Description of Problem: I had a miner running attached to a geothermal generator. Now when I checked this morning it's fuel was empty, which was strange. Then I noticed it's no longer a geothermal generator, but a normal one. I couldn't explain to myself why I put the wrong generator there, especially since I don't have generators on stock. As a quick fix I went to my main building where 2 geo thermal generators were running. I checked one to see if there are lava cells in it, but there weren't. So I dismantled it with my electric wrench and it ended in my directory as a normal generator. It seems that is what happened yesterday with the one from the miner. Error Messages: Error Log:
  4. Ok, I found it. The problem was on a totally other area It seems that my FTP-client didn't show the subdirectories on the server. I now used the File Browser in the Web-Interface of my hoster and there the directores are visible. Sorry for the confusion and thanks a lot for helping. It's really appreciated.
  5. Thanks for your reply... strangely enough, that folder is empty? I have a lastid file which appareantly shows the last ID that was used (it's incremented when I destroy the turtle and reset it on the ground). Do I have to create the folder manually and put the API's in there?
  6. Hi out there, Just a quick question. I want to write my own API's/Programs for my turtles. Where do I store them on the server so I have them available? I thought it's under mods/ComputerCraft(...) but there is no such directory. I also tried saving a program in a turtle and then finding it. But I can't seem to locate it either local or on the server? :-( I have full FTP access to the server btw. Any hint would be welcomed. Infos: I'm running Tekkit Lite 0.6.1
