Having been playing minecraft for a while now and have been playing multiplayer on my friends Tekkit Classic server. For better speed we are now running the server from my PC as I have faster internet and his computer is already running a private teamspeak server that we use.
we decided to upgrade to tekkit lite because it is more up-to-date and more actively maintained.
I downloaded the server and launched it and got a problem with XMS values which I have sorted with a quick search. But now the server will run and I can connect to the server and play. But then after a 10 minutes of playing the message about a java socket connection time out appears and I am disconnected. Meanwhile the command interface for the server is going haywire with 100 new messages a second being written. as a result I cannot use the /save-all command or /stop command because it keeps resetting the command half way through typing.
Is there anyway that I can fix this problem so I can play happily ever after?
