Zarrex

Hi All, I'm playing Tekkit 1.0.6 in survival mode and I haven't found any gems, lots of diamonds but not one single gem. This is becoming a pain as I can't make a tinker table without an emerald. I have; 3x quarries 10x mining shafts multiple routes down to bedrock and a turtle which I find really useful with a mining script. even in the nether my portal gate is at level ~70 and I have mining shafts all the way down to level 10. Is this a bug ? Cheers Andy
