  1. I see what you mean, but then it won't be as simple for new players to join simply by choosing the tekkit pack on the left of the technic launcher... I'd like to find a solution that doesn't mean creating a custom modpack if I can :/
  2. I'm not sure what you mean? Find the right version of what?
  3. Hey All, Another question that has me a bit befuzzled. I recently started a Tekkit server. All has been going pretty well. I decided that using PermissionsEX I would ban the crafting of a few key items, and force players to purchase them at a server store. In hopes of enforcing somewhat of an economy & making things a bit harder to get. For instance I decided to ban the crafting of Wiring needed for the Modular Powersuits. This was going fairly well, until the players started building ME Networks, and found that they can craft wiring using the automated crafting AE provides... I haven't tested it, but I'm guessing this will be the case for crafting pipes as well.. I asked in the IRC channel for the folks who built AE and they suggested a "Recipe Remover" mod. After a great deal of research and testing, I found a mod that allows me to ban crafting recipes from other mods! That would be great... If it were included in the Technic pack... It isn't. Any suggestions??
  4. DURP! That did it! Thank you very much, I knew it was something simple! What about charging these new batteries? I can't seem to get them to charge in the Energetic Infuser?
  5. Hey All, I'm having an issue it seems with getting the Atomic Science machines powered in the Tekkit 1.1.8 pack. I've watched the tutorials, I've combed through configuration files, yet nothing I do is able to.. 1) Charge the new batteries (The little ones, not the Makeshift one) 2) Transmit any sort of power to the AS Machines (IE: Chemical Extractor, Centrifuge) I've tried connecting Redstone Energy cells directly, indirectly. I've tried using tesseracts, and conductive pipes. Only two things have worked... When I put a batter directly into the Chem Extractor it turns on. Not very useful however as I can't seem to charge these batteries. I had to spawn it in using creative mode. When I hooked up combustion engines DIRECTLY to the device, it seems to work. Yet redstone energy conduit nor conductive pipes will send power. I feel like i'm missing something simple, but it's almost infuriating that I can't figure this out... Here is a screenshot to show what i've been trying for example: Any help would be appreciated... Thanks!
  6. Title: Strange Lag Issue Version: 1_0_3 OS: Debian GNU/Linux 6.0.7 (squeeze) Java Version: Java SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_25-b15) Description of Problem: Greetings! I've just recently created a new Tekkit Frontiers server and am loving it so far! I have pretty much everything up and going nicely, however I am having a rather strange lag issue and am curious if anyone else has encountered it, if so... is there a fix? The server is virtually lag free, power runs smoothly, items drop cleanly. However, whenever I try to craft something, for example a furnace I get this weird item lag. When I place the cobblestone for the furnace in the crafting grid, the items flicker, sometimes disappear even tho they are still technically there. If I hold down the mouse and drag the cobblestone into it's pattern, it happens smoothly and quickly? I've tried removing ALL the plugins to see if this helped, it did not... Server is running on a gigabit line (A server, not some home PC), not maxing the CPU or RAM. Any thoughts? Error Messages: None Error Log: N/A
