There are no endermen anywhere. I'm basically on a sky platform, so unless their sounds travel around 40-50 blocks then...That's booshiet.

So I've checked, checked again and triple checked the mod list, and there seems to be nothing that indicates that there's a sound mod in this version of Tekkit. However, while I was playing today (and this was made worse by the fact that I was wearing headphones) I was greeted by the sound of the most horrifying growl I have ever heard. It's not unlike the growl of a zombie, but it lasts about 10-20 seconds and gets progressively louder and more aggressive. There are no monsters nearby by the way. Can anyone suggest what this might be? Or how to get disable it without just outright turning off sounds in Minecraft?
