I'm trying to update my Big Dig server from 1.2.2 to 1.3.9, but it doesn't seem to be as easy as other servers. My usual procedure is to start the new server and let it finish setting up, then deleting the world folder it generated and replacing it with the old one and any files containing player data. However, when I do this with Big Dig, it removed all of our IC2 blocks. Is there some new way to update the server? Or do I need to start looking for a way to force the Technic launcher to use Big Dig 1.2.2?

I'm running a Big Dig server open to my friends over the internet and I play over my house LAN, but I'm having up to tens of seconds of lag over my gigabit network. The server itself is running on a virtual machine that has 2 CPUs and 4GB of RAM and is running the server files on a RAMdisk for maximum performance. The CPU usage does not seem to climb past 80% but as always I'm getting constant Can't Keep Up errors and I have no idea how to even start to fix it. Any ideas?
