The launcher fails to start

Someone please help I have no idea what to do I have re downloaded it and it still fails -
Launcher Version: 249 Operating System: Windows Vista Java Version: the 32x Antivirus Program: I have Mcaffee Description of Problem: The launcher starts then shuts off immediately Error Messages: None Error Log: None
