  1. Ah, I see. 1.0.6 is the latest download link on the main page, so yeah that would explain it. Thanks! I am still wondering, though, why it often seems like "one step forward, two steps back" in regard to Tekkit updates. It just feels like more features get removed than added between builds.
  2. Thanks for your amazing advice, you sure are helpful. Mind telling me what the scaffolding is called so I can find it in NEI? Also, I know you can use the minium stone for portable crafting, but it was nice to have that pocket table in the very early game.

Two things which I have gotten so used to that, without them, Tekkit is almost unplayable. There is really no good information on what features carry over between Tekkit releases, or anything about these "missing mod" warnings. So, what's going on here? Is it a huge hassle to manually add in the mods which contain pocket crafting and scaffolding, or is it something I can do in 20 minutes? Thanks for your time! EDIT: I am talking about the latest version of Tekkit, not Lite or Classic
  4. Omfg thank you YaLTeR I do have some other questions though: Is permissionsEX still compatible with tekkit? Or is there a different permissions that everyone is using? Cause I'm getting "error when enabling permissionsEX (is it up to date?)" I am also getting the error "could not pass event PluginEnableEvent to essentials," was wondering what that's about since essentials seems to be working... essentially.
  5. Sorry if this post is redundant, but I HAVE been searching for a while now, but to no avail. All I want to do is disable BuildCraft, that's it. I have searched on google and on this forums for "how to disable mods server side" and the only answer I see is "edit modloader.cfg and change x_mod: on to off." Now, I know there's a modloader.cfg for configuring mods client side, but I do not have that file in my server folder (I even redownloaded the server files). Can I just copy it over from the .techniclauncher/tekkit/config folder or what? Thanks.

The problem, simply put, is this: No matter what permissions mod I use, no matter what I try to do, I cannot give the permissions for the default group (or anyone except op for that matter) to use commands like /mtod, /rules, /sethome, /home, and /warp, which are all included in the Tekkit installation. I've been at this for three days, and I can see from Googling that a LOT of people have this issue, but every single post I've found on this topic just gets completely ignored. I'm guessing there is some intrinsic part of the Tekkit server that is overriding all other permissions mods, and I would like to know how to disable it. Thanks.
  7. Hey, I have the same problem. Basically, I have a fresh unmodified tekkit server up and running successfully. I download and install permissionsbukkit, terminal says permissionsbukkit loaded correctly, etc. Use terminal command to set myself to group "admin," without even opening the config.yml file Log in to the server, I don't have a single permission. /help, /sethome, nothing works. However, I can still build and chat. Am I missing something here? I've tried searching for any special relation between Tekkit and PermissionsBukkit, and even config.yml files that are designed to work with tekkit, but the information is just not there. EDIT: I think another thing worth mentioning is that when I use /perm check <node> <player> every single node defaults to false. Not sure how this is even possible since the permissionsbukkit defaults allow even non-grouped users to use /motd and /help EDIT2: I just removed permissions... but I still get "You don't have permission" when I type /help, /motd, etc. so I just feel confused and violated. I'm gonna go cry myself to sleep now.
