Hey there, Rootfifth. If you go in to your AppData > Roaming directory and navigate to hexxit, within the .technic directory, you'll find another directory titled 'config'. In there you should find a file called MapWriter with the .cfg extension, this is the file you'll want to edit to modify your minimap. I hope that helps! I definitely agree that the default is a little on the large marge side hahaha

Are you using Optifine? I guess there's a compatibility bug with Optifine where you can't climb ladders... I'm still trying to figure out a way to install it without the bug so my little bro can play.

I installed it just fine in the modpack.jar, ultra version D3. Haven't tried the newest version yet but I'll give it a go because I wanted to throw WorldEdit on there as well. edit; I've noticed there are some incomatibilities with Optifine. The ladder issue being one... Hexxit runs fine on my PC without it, was trying because my little bro's laptop can barely handle vanilla Minecraft.
