Shockwave isn't creating, uh, shockwaves when I play on my server. Things just die in front of me. It works just fine in singleplayer though. It's not really a big deal, I would just like to know if this is happening to anybody else and why it is happening/how to fix it.

What are they for? The recipe shows that you can break down Emerald Pieces to make 8 shards, but that's it. I thought that you can build shards into pieces, then pieces into emeralds but it seems like that is not the case.
