Age: 27 In game name: Raivek Location in USA: Texas Reason why you want to join: I've been looking for a decent Tekkit server that isn't too large, has grief prevention and is PvE. This seems to fit the bill. A little about your self: I don't feel like there's a whole lot to say. I'm just an average down to earth guy that likes games in my free time. Previous Servers: Mainly Business Elite and Eaveecraft. I've tried to start my own a few times (Hex Plus and InfiniTech) but always ran into technical issues. Ars Magica 2 is being added tonight. Also I'm putting in an older version of Galacticraft (not much older) that seems more stable and will hopefully fix crashes involving items from this mod.

I have no clue why the URL part of the modpack link keeps disappearing. Anyways, gave up on that and just put a regular hyperlink in.

I will definitely do so. And as far as banned items go there is a list in the post. Currently there are none and items will only be banned if they are found to crash the server.

Thanks all for posting. Concerning the Error about the dimensional manager it has been fixed. As for Ars Magica, the last time I tested it half of it didn't work. I'll be looking here soon at any new updates but since it does a lot of world gen (or at least the last one did) I want to be completely sure it actually works before putting it in. Also, I just added Galacticraft and Secret Rooms.

I've been getting the same problem. Some people blame Mojang, others Technic. I don't know which one it is but both are blaming the other. I had this happen a few times awhile ago (much less though) and found a post saying that it can happen if you login with your minevraft account elsewhere. So I went to minecraft.net, mojangs site and here and logged in then out and it seem to help. I've been doing the same with some success, but it could also be dumb luck. Not sure if it's helpful, but many are feeling the pain. I'm hearing complaints across multiple forums.

So I have been running a server off windows for some time and decided to try unbuntu.... I've gotten the launcher and my modpacks to work fine, but when I try to launch the server using Java Web Start (the only option available) I get this error. JNLParseException[ Could not parse launch file. About the Modpack behind the Server I really am liking Hexxit, but I missed a lot of the magic mods and a few tech mods I really liked so I decided to put this pack together. I tried to stay with the original feel of what the developers of Hexxit had in mind; Adventure. So, while there are many mods added if you like the adventure/RPG aspect of Hexxit, but would like to see mods like Thaumcraft, Mystcraft, and ArsMagica (to name a few) then check out Hex Plus. Server Info Expected uptime is 24/7. However, keep in mind the server/custom Modpack are new and so is the Modpack it is based off of so there are bound to be issues that arise (I know a lot of the Hexxit servers I've been playing on are still trying to figure out crashes). But, I will always do my best to keep it up, keep it running smoothly, and most importantly to make your playtime as enjoyable as possible. The server is mainly PvE, however, since I know many enjoy PvP I have decided to enable it and, along with Grief Prevention, add Factions. Factions also is better in allowing people to band together and take on the many dungeons of the Modpack as a team, but Grief Prevention is great for those who want better protection over their creations. This is after all a game about creativity and I want to support those who like to build amazing things. I am looking for mature players that just want to have fun and enjoy Minecraft. The server is open so feel free to download the pack and either mess around in SSP with the mods a bit or jump right on the server. *As a side note, I just got all the plugins and most of spawn done last night, but I have big plans for improving and adding to spawn and the shops so while I think spawn is currently pretty nice it will get better as time goes on. I am also planning on using Dimensional doors to create a sort of transportation hub to different areas around the map.
