can i install Thermal Expansion to my tekkit lite ?

i play tekkit lite: i installed the new version of java that was recomanded on this site but when it was finisht with installing tekkit lancher it could not start anymore. it says: Error: Could not create the java Virtual machine Error: A fatal exception has occurred. progam will exit ???? plz help me :(

I merge the files than when i start hexxit you see the ftl loading than you see mojang and than the screen stay white and dont load further??

Iam now playing hexxit. Idk if thats in space :/

How i do that ?

Iam kinda new to tekkit. Iam started playing in hexxit. I have seen people making factorys and stuff. Can i make that kinda things in hexxit to ? Or do i need to play another tekkit server?
