  1. Hey i had the same problem it was very annoying :|, but i found a solution that has worked for me so far 1. Open text edit then click Format make plain text 2. Copy this code and enter it into the text edit: (for cd~/put where your file is but dont put the file name) cd ~/where your jar is/ export JAVA_HOME=/System/Library/Frameworks/Jav aVM.framework/Versions/1.6/Home java -jar TechnicLauncher.jar 3. Save that as something.command 4. Move that file to where your jar is 5. Enter Terminal and type chmod a+x "drag the command here" 6. Double click that command file and log in how you usually would. (The command is what you click to open it from now on) Hope this works tell me if it doesn't (Also i haven't tried this yet but this should work for the voltz crash you had to )
