Weirleader, thank you so much for giving me all this information but I got a problem, first I tried uninstalling java 7 and downgrade to java 6, but my computer acted like it didn't have java from the first beginning! But I managed, thanks to apples website, to downgrade it so know, I've got java 1.6.0_51. And I tried to launch tekkit again, but it doesn't work! What am I going to do? :(

alright, so I uninstalled java and then installed the newest version, got rid of all the files that belonged to technic, reinstalled the launcher and all the files, still doesn't work :/ the most weird thing is that I was able to play on friday, it was on the evening i couldn't play anymore

Hi, so the other day I tried to install technic. I managed to open the launcher and press launch but when I get to, "FML is setting up your minecraft environment", the "tekkit" screen is all blank and its supposed to say Mojang, instead it just shuts down :/ the weird thing is that I can play minecraft without problems. ps. I play on macbook air.
