  1. Those buttons are actually from NEI, not tekkit. Anyway, try using the buttons to switch to creative, then back to survival. Then relog to the server and see if you're in creative.
  2. Please elaborate. I'm not sure what you mean by tekkit creative.
  3. Title: Apparent update error Version: 1_0_4 OS: Windows 7 Java Version: Version 7 update 25 Description of Problem: After updating to 1.0.4, my client was acting strange. It was using the wrong sound effects and having ridiculous frame rate drops, and was freezing often. My computer is fairly great for gaming, but i assumed it was from the update (i am running a server on the same computer simultaneously). I decided to delete the resources folder and re-download it, and it fixed both problems. I figured I should post this in case anyone else was having trouble. Error Messages: Error Log:
  4. NEI is the mod that lets you look through a catalog of all the items when you look at your inventory. If you don't really know what it is, it might be in cheat mode. If NEI is causing your issue, when you log in and immediately look at your inventory, you will probably see a bunch of symbols or buttons in the top left corner. There will be one that is highlighted or something and have a large C on it. if you click it once, it should change to a C+, then again and it should switch back to a C but no longer be highlighted. you should then be in survival. Tell me if i need to reword it or something, or if that isn't the case.
  5. It seems like that's the issue. Have him look up a tutorial or something. It's the same with a vanilla minecraft server.
  6. Did he set up port forwarding on his router?
  7. I believe it's due to NEI. I think if you use the NEI cheat mode button to switch to creative, and then use commands to switch back, it does that. It happened on a feed the beast server I once hosted. I think you just need to use the NEI button to switch to normal, and you should be fine.
